My cycling tour along the Viarhôna from Geneva to Orange was everything I hoped it would be! I experienced the beautiful french landscape, great accommodations and many interesting cities. [...]

The GUIBO was excellent. Very easy to use and navigate, however, we were never able to get voice guidance to work (operator error possibly). [...]

Hotel domaine des oliviers was especially good .

 

Hard to pick just one experience - great views, Chateau de Colmartin, riding through the longest cycling tunnel in Europe, but mostly the great hospitality (often totally unexpected gestures), & the delicious local foods & wines. We were amazed that 2 grapes (Pinot Noir & Chardonnay), could produce such great variety in both regions. [...]

Many of your recommended places to visit (Ribeauville, Turkheim, Molsheim, the Unterlinden Museum in Colmar), were all great recommendations that we enjoyed very much. Hotel de l’Europe were so professional and lovely in Strasbourg. Hotel Goveneur moved us to an air conditioned room in a heatwave (thank God!), hotel in Riquewihr had a lovely pool and lady at breakfast filled up our cycling water bottles with cold water and crushed ice!! [...]

We were not told about the check in time of 5 pm in A deux pas du Rhéby (Villebois). Fortunately when we arrived we rang the bell and the owner, Thierry was just about to leave, but was nice enough to accommodate us and let us in…he even got cold beers for us. [...]

I LOVED the accomodation in Baux de Provence and the dinner was perfectly amazing. In general, this was a special trip for me and one that I would gladly do again. [...]
